Do's and Don't in Blogs, Social Networking Sites and E-mails
1. Avoid flamewars. It is also known flaming, this is an insulting interaction between internet users. This arises when there are conflicting ideas in politics, religion and philosophy. Emotional discussions are initiated by individuals also known as flamers.
2. Avoid typing in ALL CAPS. Typing in all caps is considered as shouting or yelling. Some people do this to emphasize their posts or to make their posts catchy. When you post in all caps consider the environment where you post it and the words that you are going to post.
3. Make sure your emails are self-explanatory. Otherwise, others may misunderstood it.
4. Be direct. Long emails are seldom read. Make sure that your emails are brief and concise.
5. Do not open restricted sites. This is very common in school, do not open restricted sites because this might be harmful to you and to others.
6. Do not upload abusive photographs. Make sure that all photos that you upload are descent because people across the globe can view it.
7. Check your spelling. Make sure that your posts are error-free because errors can damage the credibility of your message.
8. Be honest. It is good to tell the truth like in filling up personal information to activate your account. Your posts must be true avoid posting fabricated stories.
